We have planned this trip for people who have plenty of time for a sweeping exploration of the Dodecanese and love outdoor sports! Providing experienced certified guides and offering a variety of activities suitable for different levels and age, this trip will cover 250 nm with an average of 3 hours sailing per day and allows the traveler to visit and explore the best spots around Samos, Patmos, Leros, Kalymnos, Kos and more islands of iconic beauty!


Day by Day

Day 1 > Samos & Agathonisi

Meet your skipper at the port of Pythagoreio and after a short briefing and last preparations set sail to Agathonisi, a small island with less than 200 inhabitants and a lovely, quiet port. Enjoy your first dinner under the stars in the peaceful atmosphere of the island.

Day 2 > Arkoi, Marathi & Patmos

After a morning swim and breakfast follows a light sailing to the beach of Tiganakia, in the nearby island of Arkoi. Enjoy your swim and underwater selfies in this magnificent beach with its crystalline waters and let us move to Marathi, an islet with a population of 12, falling to 3 people in winter. Have your lunch in the ambience of this hospitable place and continue with an 1hr sail to the island of Patmos. Overnight anchorage at its port will give you the opportunity for a beautiful dinner in one of the town’s traditional taverns, and endless evening strolls along the pier.

Day 3 > Lipsi

On this morning you can either visit the castle-built Monastery of Saint John the Theologian in Chora, a UNESCO world heritage site with strong cultural connotations or indulge in a sea kayak session along the east coast of the island until afternoon. Meet the boat on the southernmost part of the island and sail to our next destination, the island of Lipsi. We will moor in Katsadia beach, where a fine restaurant and lively bar complete the setting for another great summer night.

Day 4 > Makronisi & Leros

Take a refreshing morning swim and breakfast and let’s move to Makronisi, a narrow islet at short distance with spectacular cliff formations, large caves and an underwater arc, ideal for cliff diving or deep-water soloing, while abundant marine life including wide lobster population offers an exciting opportunity for snorkeling. After lunch repose on-board while sailing to the island of Leros, where the port of Panteli will be our overnight spot.

Day 5 > Leros & Kalymnos

The seabed of Leros is home to wrecks of warships and aircraft frames dating back to WWII, which make scuba diving an exhilarating choice for this morning. Alternatively, you can go for a mountain bike tour as the mostly gently rising terrain of the island creates relatively flat trail surfaces with limited climbs and descents. Meet the boat in Xirokampos beach for a swim and lunch on-board and later in the evening sail to the island of Kalymnos with the sun setting on your horizon. Overnight anchorage at Palionisos bay.

Day 6 > Kalymnos & Telendos

After a morning swim and breakfast we sail to Vathis, a small village located in a narrow, fjord-likened bay, ideal for sea kayak. Also, climbing is the ultimate activity in Kalymnos! A climbing instructor will lead you to the many climbing routes and levels around the island. Later on, laze about on-board in the nearby (less than a mile away) islet of Telendos or hit the bar at Masouri for some post-adrenaline shots!

Night anchorage: Vathy port

Day 7 > Pserimos

Today let’s split this day between Kalymnos and Pserimos. A light morning sail towards the rocky islet Nera and later on sail to Pserimos, an island with very few inhabitants, a rudimentary road net, a scout camp and numerous eye-catching beaches which we will explore before we moor for sunbath and beach tennis at the central bay. Surrender to the calmness of this place and get lost in a timeless summer mood.

Day 8 > Kos

Enjoy a morning swim before sailing to Vathy bay in Pserimos. Later on reach Kos to explore its rich culture and beautiful surrounding bays. Stay on anchor at Kos port for the night,

Day 9 > Nisyros & Tilos

Today set sail to Nisyros. Enjoy Mandraki port and walk around the village. Get a chance to visit the monastery, its historical museum and castle. Later on, a transfer is arranged to get you to the volcano area wherfrom a 2 hour walk begins to Nikia village. Visit the Volcanological Museum before you move to Avlaki seaside village, by taking a short path toward its abandoned city with unique settlements built deep in the ground (known as ''spiladia''). Your boat will wait for you there ready for a relaxing sunset sailing to Tilos where Tholos beach will serve as an anchorage for the night.

Day 10 > Tilos

After morning swim and breakfast, get a chance to visit the beautiful village and the Museum of Paleontology and Geology with exhibits on the unique ''elephas tiliensis'' famous dwarf elephant of Tilos. Explore all the history and culture of this beautiful destination and enjoy a relaxing evening on Tholos bay which will also serve as an anchorage for the night.

Day 11 > Halki & Alimia

Enjoy morning swim and breakfast and get ready for a 2 hour sail to Halki. Halki islet offers a lots of caves surrounded by a very wild scenery full of cliffs, seals by its rocks and beautiful crystal clear water. Make a few stops to explore all its natural beauties and later on sail to its picturesque and quite port to visit the castle and stroll around. Later on, a half hour sailing will get you to Alimia, a unique island with a very protected bay, an old village and lots of historical remnants from the war. Enjoy a magnificent view up from the top of its castle. Afternoon sail to Symi and moor to a secluded beautiful bay.

Day 12 > Symi

Today the program is ideal for travelers that admire heights. Transfer by car and after a short walk reach a unique spot where a 300 meter cliff stands that hosts a base jumping event every summer. The rappel along with the beautiful view of Agios Georgios and emerald waters underneath is breathtaking. Swim and relax until you start a short sail to Symi. Explore the beautiful harbor and town of Symi before you choose a traditional tavern to taste some local delicacies.

Day 13 > Rhodes

Today, sail around the island to reach the best beaches to enjoy swimming and the beautiful surroundings and get the chance to visit a unique spot with spectacular cliff views. Later on, a short sail will get you to Mandraki port in Rhodes which is the disembarkation point of this trip.
